Gouache Collection

Gouache is a form of watercolor, but it’s much more opaque. I enjoy it because it lands on the page thickly and it reminds me of oil paint, but I’m not working with oil paint at this time due to the fact that you can get into problems with some of the mediums that you have to use with oil paint. I love gouache. I took a class with a woman named Kathleen Denis on the Winslow school of Art program That is out west. I learned a lot from that class and am devoting a lot more of my time to working in this medium.
